Hey guys I just thought i would post something on my blog since i haven’t been on here since the 22nd of November 2010 so hi and I will try to keep posting things on here.

I have added another page based on the key competencies that we will be doing soon.

How do we use technology at school?
Hardware
Interactive whiteboard, computers, laptops, cameras.
Software
power point, email, blogs, google docs, prezi, educational games.

How does it help our learning?
It helps make it more interesting it is all around the world and you won’t lose it like a piece of paper.

This week I have chosen my handwriting and this is my piece.

And that was my neatest and tidiest piece that I also took my time with.

This week I have chosen my best writing because I have used the five senses really well in this story this is it.

As we leave the cow shed to go on the farm we hear a baa sound coming from a nearby shed. We slowly drive over in the gater it was a lamb. Then it was my turn to drive so we head back to the house in the gater. We were halfway when
” Ahhh!!! ” Casey was screaming.
She told me to watch the track.
” Put the breaks on. “ She said just in time we were about 3 cm away from hitting a power pole. Then there was a weird and familiar smell, it was Casey’s Dad burning some rubbish in a nearby paddock. I had to take my mind off the nearby crash. I grabbed a soft, sweet tasting mint off Casey’s hand. YUM!!
I smelt gas coming from the gater it smelt like a rotton sock not been washed ever. I went to touch the stiring wheel to reverse it but my hand just slipped off it was slippery.

All the highlighted places is where I have used the five senses they are sight, smell, touch, taste, hear.

This week I have chosen my maths because I thought I have worked out my problems extremly well and haven’t used a calculator at all. Here are some of the problems I thought I did really well answering. I also take the number that is closer to a tidy number

8×12 9×27 14×9 and the last one is 22×39
10×8=80 30×9=270 10×9=90 20×39=780
so 12×8 is 80+16 so 27×9 is 270-27 so 14×9 is 90+36 so 22×39 is 780+78
which is 96 which is 243 which is 126 which is 858
