This week I choose my colour poem because I made it rhyme and it has a few funny things in the rhyme that are weird. This is it =
Yellow is the colour of the sun
the weird colour of fun
the colour of a bun
and it looks like a pretty yellow gun
Yellow is the colour of ice
is the colour of dice
is the colour of rice
yellow is also the colour of mice
yellow is the colour of a pen
the colour of a den
is the colour of ten
the colour of a weird looking hen
yellow is the extreme colour of a cat
the colour of a bat

the best thing about my limerick is I made it rhyme and it had a good beat
There was a girl she had a pet
she liked to bet
she lost a lot of money
she ate some honey
then made a net.

This is my story…
“No way I don’t want to go to school”I shouted. “School no I don’t want to go” It was my first day of school.I was so terrified because no one I knew was at school a part from Karina. I didn’t want to go away from Mum and Dad all the time because I would be miserable and heart broken. Somehow I had to learn but it would have to be away from Mum and Dad but that would be fair because Karina did it so I will do it. When I was slowly walking to my classroom I was thinking to myself would the children here like me or would they make fun of me and would I make some friends quick.The teacher I had was helping me out a lot.When I went home I said to mum “I liked this school the kids are fun to play with and the teachers help you out a lot”. I ended up liking it.I made heaps of friends.

Noo!!! I don’t want to share a room with my sister it is so unfair! I need my privacy so much and I can’t understand why Karina can’t share a room with Caitlin. It is so so unfair because I’m the middle child and shouldn’t it be the oldest one who has to share a room with the youngest child because the youngest and oldest make plans to prank the middle child.Then that night when she was asleep I tried to make sure she didn’t like sharing a room.She started screaming and freaking out because she thought it was a spider in her bed. She leaped out of her bed onto the floor and started shouting. I was just standing there laughing my head off it was hillarious! She was as funny as a monkey tripping over it’s own feet.

AIM – To see if plants need sunshine to grow
PREDICTION – I think they need sunshine to grow
PROCEDURE – Get 3 black pots- fill black pots with soil to the top- put 2 seeds in the pots- water them with a yoghurt container- put them in there places 1 in shoebox 1 ina cupboard 1 by a tree
THE VARIABLES WE HAVE KEPT THE SAME ARE – Soil, Darkness, Semi Light, Water, Oxygen and Seeds.

This week the blue group in maths held a statistical experiment to find out which plane flew the best out of the delta and the canaro.
We talked about how many different ways you could throw plane that would effect how well it flew.We then went outside and gave them lots of test flights based on the different ways to throw them.We then measured the distances in metres and gathered all our information on excel.
Looking at the data we couldn’t decide which was the better plane so we graphed the information.
The first line graph was hard to read because there was so much information on it, so we worked out the average distances, then graphed that information.
As you can see, the best plane was the Canaro and the best way to throw it to get the most distance was softly upwards.
